IPL stands for Indian Premier League is a professional league for Twenty20 cricket which was developed in India in 2008 by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It currently includes ten teams from players all around the World. IPL is the second highest paid league according to global sports salaries review. An average salary of an IPL player over a year would be $3.84 million. IPL’s first season was played in 2008 and right now IPL is four seasons old.
