Tilakaratne Mudiyanselage Dilshan

Tilakaratne Mudiyanselage Dilshan is a Sri Lankan cricketer and recently captain of National Cricket Team of Sri Lanka. Dilshan was born on October 14, 1976 and has been a member of Sri Lankan cricket Team since 1999. His bating style is aggressive right-handed and his bowling is spin. In 2009 ICC World Twenty20 he achieved the award of International Performer of the year for his 96 off 57 balls in the semi-final against West Indies. At the age of 16, he converted himself from Islam to Buddhism before that he was also known by his name Tuwan Mohammad Dilshan.
