KC Sangakkara

Kumar Sangakkara is a Sri Lankan Cricketer and also the former captain of Sri Lankan Cricket team. He is specialist left-handed top order batsman. Initially he used to play only as a wicket keeper but then he begun bating in the Tests. He improved his bating to such a level that he was ranked as the number 1 Test batsman in the World many times in his carrier. On March 3, 2009 when Sri Lankan Team was attacked by terrorists, he among many other terrorists faced severe injuries. Sangakkara delivered the 11th MCC Cowdrey Lecture at Lord’s on July 4, 2011 and thus became the only Sri Lankan to deliver the cowdrey lecture ever.
