Jean-Paul Duminy often informally referred to as JP Duminy is a cricketer who plays for South African cricket team. Duminy is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm off spin bowler who was born on 14 April 1984 and was brought up in Western Cape. He also plays domestic cricket for his home team, the Cape Cobras. Duminy became popular during the South African under-19s tour to England in 2003 and in the 2003- 04 domestic season, where he averaged over 72 two years after breaking into South Africa's Western Province side. In ICC World Cup 2011 Duminy's became the second batsman after Adam Gilchrist to be dismissed for 99. Right now at the age of 27 JP Duminy has established himself as one of the leading cricketers in the World and is going strong.
