Lasith Malinga

Lasith Malinga is a Sri Lankan cricketer, born 28 August 1983. He is a fast bowler specialist. He became a member of Sri Lankan Team after debuting in One Day International on 17 July, 2004. He is also known as “Slinga Malinga” for his rare round-arm or sling action which makes him a sharp bouncer. He is the first and the only player to have taken four wickets in four consecutive balls in any form of International cricket. In 2011, he announced his retirement from cricket. He also plays for Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League. He was also a prominent player during the 2011 cricket World Cup.
